Plot:
The story begins with young Harvey Cheyne, Jr., portrayed by Freddie Bartholomew, the spoiled and arrogant son of a wealthy businessman. While on a transatlantic voyage with his parents, Harvey falls overboard and is presumed lost at sea.

Harvey is eventually rescued by a Portuguese fishing schooner, the We're Here, led by the compassionate and experienced Captain Disko Troop, played by Lionel Barrymore. The crew of the We're Here is initially skeptical of Harvey's background and attitude, but they take him in and teach him the ways of the sea.

As Harvey adapts to life on the fishing schooner, he learns valuable lessons about hard work...
