Plot Summary:
The film is set in Copenhagen, Denmark, where a group of scientists and military personnel are conducting an excavation. During their dig, they discover a frozen tail fragment of a prehistoric creature, which is believed to be a reptilian dinosaur from millions of years ago.
The frozen fragment is transported to a laboratory for further study. However, when a careless lab technician accidentally exposes the specimen to heat and electricity, it begins to thaw and regenerate. Soon, the scientists are faced with the horrifying reality that the creature is not only alive but rapidly growing and regenerating its body.
